Koh Haa
Five limestone islands around a sheltered lagoon, with cavern walls that divers call the Cathedral.

Koh Haa means "five islands", and they sit in a loose ring that shelters a lagoon in the middle. That lagoon is the reason this is such a reliable snorkel site: even when it is choppy outside, the inner water stays flat.
The Cathedral is a set of connected caverns on the western island. Divers go inside; from the surface you can still look straight down the walls, which drop away into deep blue.
Visibility here is the best within easy reach of Lanta, and the site works year-round more reliably than the further-out islands.
