Private charter Longtail boat

Koh Haa Private Charter

The clearest water in reach of Lanta, and the whole boat is yours

A full private day at the five islands of Koh Haa — your group only, on a longtail or a speedboat, 08:00 to 15:00.

Koh Haa is the closest genuinely world-class snorkelling to Koh Lanta: five limestone islands standing in open water, with a sheltered lagoon in the middle of the group and visibility that regularly runs past twenty metres.

This runs as a private charter, so the boat is yours. That means you set the pace, you stay longer wherever the water is best on the day, and you are not waiting on anyone else to get back aboard.

Two ways to do it. The longtail is the traditional wooden boat — slower, quieter, and you sit close to the water. The speedboat gets you there in a fraction of the time, which buys you more of the day in the water.

Highlights

  • The whole boat to yourselves
  • Visibility that regularly runs past twenty metres
  • The sheltered inner lagoon in the middle of the group
  • Cavern walls divers call the Cathedral
  • Choose a longtail or a speedboat

How the day runs

  1. 08:00

    Hotel pickup

We collect you anywhere on Koh Lanta Yai.

  2. Morning

    Out to Koh Haa

How long depends on the boat you chose. Gear fitting and a briefing on the way.

  3. On the water

    The lagoon and the walls

The sheltered inner lagoon, the cavern walls, and the shallow coral gardens — in whatever order the sea suggests on the day.

  4. Lunchtime

    Eat aboard

Fruit, water and soft drinks are included. Tell us if you want a full lunch arranged.

  5. 15:00

    Back to Lanta

Then a transfer to your hotel.

Times are indicative. Sea state, tide and the national park can all shift the running order — your guide will tell you on the morning if anything changes.
